The trumpet shell was upcycled from a Fijian lei necklace.  These lei’s are given to friends and loved ones as a sign of affection and it’s intended that this sentiment will carry forward from these Pacific isles. 
The shell is set in sterling silver and lays on a hammered band which represents the ripples of the ocean.
